Peep Show is back for a third series. First shown on our screens back in 2003 and Mark and Jeremy's exploits are as hilarious as ever.
Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain have written the script in their usual, unique style, narrating the feelings of the characters. This technique provides many comical moments and enables the audience to build a relationship with these characters. Mark and Jeremy's usual love/ hate relationship is displayed much as in the previous series and keeps provoking the question 'are they actually friends?'
The comedy is even more close to the bone in the third series with much riskier and controversial things are said. I love the fact that the honesty you feel from the characters is brought out in the controversial thoughts they each have.
Jeremy's band mate Super-Hans, the drug taking rock star makes several appearances in series three, along with many other additional characters including Johnson, Sophie and Big Suze. All the characters are perfect in the show and add to the comedy dynamic brilliantly.
On the whole 'Peep Show' series three is an amazing, strange and hilarious show with an excellent cast and brilliant writing. Its another fantastic comedy show from Channel 4 and if you liked the quirky "Greenwing" "Smack the Pony" and "Big Train" then this is definitely for you. Due to the mature content in the show it's probably not for the light-hearted but still an excellent comedy series. Season

PICTURE AND SOUND
The sound and picture are very clear with Dolby Digital (2.0) Stereo and 16x9 Anamorphic
BONUS FEATURES
Deleted Scenes
Consists of extended versions of existing scenes rather than new material.

The Stand Alone Scenes
Three separate scenes that tie in with the episodes, "Mark and Jeremy's messages"
from the first episode, "Johnson's Frankfurt pitch" from the episode 3 and
"Mark and Jez on the quantox" from episode 6. There really creative little
features that shows what happened in parts of the programme they left out.
The way they are makes them different from deleted scenes for example the
messages from "Mark and Jeremy's messages" are set on a video message. There
really funny and just add to the genius of Peep show.
Audio commentary
The audio commentary is by David Mitchell and Robert Webb and it's humorous
and packed with interesting facts about the shows and scenes and also other
ideas they had for the show.
OVERALL
There are not many bonus features on the DVD and I think there could have been more, however the DVD menus are great and an improvement from the previous DVDs. The series itself is brilliant and I think it's a worthwhile DVD to buy.
